The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8 was packed with some interesting chapters. The episode begins at a park this time, where I missed Saku, but the gap is filled with Saku’s brilliant entrance in Scene 8.0. Now, without any further ado, let’s get going with-

The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8 My First Impression/ Review

Now, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8 begins on an unusual note. It begins at a park, where Yukichi seems happy on his way to shop for dinner. But something else was planned. The cutie pie Yume returns but with a catch.

The way Yukichi finds her boxed in the park and with the label sleeping peacefully sure gave me some sad thoughts just like Yukichi assumed. Also, her incomplete sentence delivery terrified the masterful cat.

So, we finally understand the catch that is she is not alone, she has a stray cat, and she refuses to leave the kitten behind. Her fondness for cats is generous which is absolutely worth appreciating.

I just love Yukichi and my fondness for this dextrous cat seems to go unstoppable now. He keeps winning me over at every episode. Just when he understands that Yume might catch a cold staying late outside, he gives up his shopping chore for the time being. And instead curls up to provide the girl and the kitten the needed warmth. It was so nice right!!!

The kitten gets overwhelmed by Yukichi’s benevolence and tries to drink milk. I was confused at first, however, when Yume said, ‘Can you breastfeed’ to Yukichi, I was lost. The shocking expression on Yukichi’s face was undeniably humorous, like what else shall he have to endure to keep these adamant kids comfortable?

We get to understand why Yume wanted to live with the cat. Yukichi is a masterful cat, and Saku got lucky, fortunately. However, Yume wants a life similar to Saku. She was unaware of the fact that Yukichi is the guardian angel to Saku. He takes care of the adult baby like a mother. 

However, everything without the household chores I found it similar. I mean Yukichi and Saku too sleep in the same bed, they eat together and sometimes play as well. 

The kind-hearted granny who lives next door to Saku, asks around for the cat adoption situation. And it was faster than one can imagine. So, Yukichi saves the kitten and takes back the cutie pie to her home.

The thought that clouds Yume’s head was obvious. I experienced a similar situation as a kid, therefore it was a relatable context for me. I loved how Yukichi pulled the kid to himself and offered her space to wail. However, gets horrified when she wails out loud. It was a change of mood for me. 

Gladly, Yume’s mother just came right on time. 

Yukichi was in his own world shocked and predicting a bad future. The moment was extremely funny for me.  But Yume’s mother is unlike everyone else.

On the other side, we see the granny was so happy with the kitten that she wanted to adopt the baby cat herself, which was kind of obvious like every cat lover would find themselves in such a happy confusion.

So, another day begins at The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8. A suspicious man is spotted in the neighborhood hood which terrifies our masterful cat. See, once again we see how much Saku means to this huge cat. In fact, he does not delay with buying pepper spray and a whistle for Saku which was thoughtful.

But I wonder how much will it be used by Saku.

Honestly, in The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8, we witness another side of Saku which impressed me a lot. The clumsy queen singlehandedly tackles the toxic ex of Rio. That kind of was unexpected from Yukichi’s POV. 

But, I must add here, stressed up Yukichi was all ready to protect Saku if needed. I didn’t see this coming. He took his frying pan and pepper spray which he bought for Saku and was geared up to help his human. Instead, his presence helped Rio which was again something worth appreciating.

However, the cold gaze and the smart move made my Saku, were unimaginable. She might be messy, and not good with house chores, but she is impeccable at her job and she is more than enough to handle her safety along with others, which genuinely astounded me, Yukichi, and Rio of course.

See, even though Saku says the guy was weak, what she does spontaneously is worth appreciating. It was amazing.

However, the panic mode strikes back as soon as Saku hears the Police Siren which I agree with her here.

Now, the interesting turn of event was, Saku’s masculinity kind of a made swooning impression in Rio’s heart. It was really interesting.

I loved how Yukichi came adorably, like a typical cat normally does, and showed his concern for Saku’s safety. It was cute. I also liked how he goes directly into guardian mode as soon as Saku demands food. It was seriously an instant change of mood.

Next, we learn what happened on that special snowy night, when Yukichi met Saku, in The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8. Everything was so cordial and very heartwarming. The direction of the montage will make a lot of cat parents feel emotional.  

Yukichi’s POV sure is important, since he is another lead of the show. 

However, as soon as Saku brings him into her home, the shocking realization of Yukichi being with the wrong pet parent is kind of funny. The wise expression of knowing everything about the world and being extremely disappointed was relatable. He perceived living with Saku would be dangerous, which from Yukichi’s POV seemed justified.

But Saku protects the cat keeping the feline wondering.  See, by now, we know how Saku is so, it was expected. Also, she unhesitantly went out on the snowy night. She was tired, but goes out just to bring cat food to feed her new family member.

Everything that added up consequently in this episode was quite an example of a good, and generous human breed, Saku is right!!!

So, now we know, why Yukichi is always on the edge to make Saku happy and live an extremely comfortable life. He successfully took care of the cockroach situation which was his first attempt.

He keeps wondering and makes the decision to transform Saku’s life for the best. Also, the audience now learns, from when Yukichi fell in love with Juru.

So, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today Ep 8 had a lot of emotional portion which makes it a relatable episode, a lot of times. The episode began on an unusual note however ended in the typical style, but in the past.
