The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 even though begins on a colder note ends with a very friendly happy warmer note. There was limitless love, wholesome times, family bonds, and funny contexts as usual. Let us get going with my first impression or review of The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 right now-

The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 Review

The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6  starts with a cold morning where Yukichi is taking care of his human diligently. The close-up shot of Saku heating her feet gave me some serious discomfort. I was scared that she might hurt her feet in the process since she is a clumsy queen.

The idea of Kotatsu was obvious. However, her blaming Yukichi for throwing it out is terrible. Like Yukichi is her guardian angel who loves taking care of the home as well. Like expecting such a bizarre thing is infuriating. I totally understood the disturbed and annoyed expression on Yukichi’s face. It was totally relatable. 

The flashback was enough to give the audience a clear context however it was discernible from the very beginning as well. 

Now, just like a husband asks for permission to buy something that the wife might disapprove of, Saku begins her quest to convince Yukichi her guardian to buy another Kotatsu for the chilly days. The cat pretty well knows that Saku might not keep her words at all. 

Saku’s cluttered lifestyle is sure problematic for the ones who love keeping the space neat and clean. The familiarity of the situation prevents Yukichi from imagining what Saku had just proposed. And the picturization of the idea was enough to make the audience side with the masterful cat.

Saku took another road i.e., purchasing the same from Amazun. But Yukichi catches the girl right on time, and his decision to throw the device in boiling water was horrifying even for me. The first thought that came was, that her work life would be concerned. 

After everything, bribery seemed the only option to convince Yukichi. Trying to fool, Saku looks forward to going shopping which she never did as of yet in the anime. However, the masterful cat is masterful for some reason right!!!

Now, during the grocery shopping montage, we see, Yukichi trying his luck to get the Kotatsu. It was a nice thing actually, since it shows his willingness to give Saku the warm and comfortable winter that she deserves. However, luck was not in his favor.

I wondered why Yukichi went in that direction like it was too negative and dark, don’t you think? Coming to an empty nest gave him the idea that Saku was done with the winter and life. It was funny, however, it gave us, Yukichi’s POV of Saku, which was weird. But one thing gets cleared as well, i.e., Yukichi loves Saku a lot more than he thinks. 

The sound gave me the idea that Saku experienced a hit-hard situation. She was humming and was happy till a few seconds ago. 

We watch Yukichi crying hard for the first time. The thought of not being able to live with Saku any further tore the cat down. It was touchy and perfectly wholesome. This is what I assumed actually.

Also, now we know, why Yukichi was unable to win the Kotatsu because it was Saku’s to win. 

I loved how Saku brought everything that Yukichi loved and was all getting ready to make her cat happy. In return, she also gets rewarded with premium Beer.  

This part of The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 ends with happy Saku and Yukichi resting, which was wholesome to watch.

When Saku called Yukichi and asked him to play, all cat parents experiences such moments during their day, I guess. However Yukichi being a huge cat, the play time was definitely off and odd. 

Now back from work, Saku brings a bunch of cat teasers assuming Yukichi’s reaction all along. The way Yukichi places the foxtail grass in the vase and seems happy, appears Saku has to learn a lot about her cat. 

The moment Saku’s address received a delivery, I kept wondering about the forthcoming situation. It literally went as I assumed. The delivery boy was suspicious all this time. His idea of reporting made me confused.

Like what do you want to report, everything went well, didn’t it? Yukichi was courteous and polite; he was being his typical self. Yes, you don’t have to make a trip to the Fukuzawa household, anymore. 

So, the parcel was sent by Saku’s mother. The mother never hesitated in calling Saku ‘Dear Dumb Daughter’ which was funny honestly. 

Yukichi was so happy for the delivered cat food. He was smiling and he was all happy and cheery about being photographed which was very unusual of him. 

So Saku once again faces the challenge of someone finding out about Yukichi. But it’s her mother this time. Therefore, the struggle is definitely strong this time. 

When asked to behave like a normal cat, Yukichi’s act of being normal was absolutely not normal. I agreed here with Saku to take some reference from the Internet.

After coming from work, Saku’s attempts to take photos of Yukichi seemed a lot of extra labor. She was not satisfied at all. She brushed Yukichi, got his fur, and created a mini Yukichi which appeared to be a brilliant idea however her mother is not Saku.

What I liked here was Yukichi’s patience. He followed everything Saku asked and judging from his expression it appeared that he was enjoying himself.

The curious mother kept doubting the clumsy daughter and she was right about a lot of things. It was Yukichi who changed their living situation. 

Now, Yukichi’s solution was to treat the mother with her favorite wine. Just like Saku, the audience sure wondered how Yukichi knew about Saku’s mother’s favorite choice of wine. Undeniably the montage kept getting funnier every second.

So, we got to see some seconds of the Fukuzawa home. It seems that Saku loves her blissful comfortable stay away from her parents. And she looks like her father. But what made the montage a bit suspicious was when Saku’s father says that they are not honest with her as well. So, what could be it?

But this Fukuzawa family, the cat, and his human enjoyed a photo shoot session another day. The two seemed to enjoy the nice time.

So Saku’s mother sent another parcel that intended to make Saku happy but it happened otherwise. Yukichi was infinitely happier this time. And as a matter of fact, Saku didn’t have any idea what is that thing in the first place. 

Now, this time it’s a call, and Saku’s mom keeps asking normal questions which terrifies Saku every time. Like I said, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 keeps getting funnier. 

It was hilarious when Yukichi gave a judgmental look when Saku was amazed to find out Yukichi’s tool to sharpen his knives all this time. Well, I too agree with Saku, it’s not common sense for a normal cat. 

The reference to Yamanba was mindblowing as well, which of course Yukichi being a cat does not get.

They had a great end to their night which was nice and wholesome.

So, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 was another homely episode that showed us how much these two love each other. The episode has a lot of smaller events that make the life of the Masterful Cat and his human more relatable, yes, I know what I am saying. I loved the Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Ep 6 wholeheartedly. It was funny, warm, cozy, and wholesome.
