3 Top Moments From Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 40 Ranked; From Least to Best

3rd Toji Vs Megumi

Now, before this particular episode, we have grasped the idea that Toji has superhuman speed which is scary. His tactical method in battling Megumi was taking a mental toll on the 1st year lad.

I kept wondering why Toji was focused on fighting Megumi only, as well. If you know the answer comment down below.

Also, I kept wondering, how Megumi did not have the slightest idea about how his biological father looked. He has created so many beautiful memories all these years, that his disturbed relationship with his father is nowhere in his hard disk.

The action sequence in its entirety was superb. The lightning-fast moves and stupendous throws kept me on the edge of my seat which I enjoyed.

However, when Toji came close and watched Megumi for the very first time in that close proximity hit me hard. His realization and then the consequential flashback gave us an insight into what was the real plan behind Megumi’s future.

From Megumi’s POV Toji was a very poor example of a father. However, when we watched the flashback, we all understood Toji, and he really didn’t seem like a bad father. Moreover, he kills himself to stop fighting his own son made me sentimental. He seemed like those fathers who fights their silent battles by being discreet but receives all kinds of hatred from their spouses and kids.

The bad thing is, I don’t know yet but Megumi will never know that he fought with his lost father, as of yet. Let’s see what holds in the future episode.

2nd Jogo Vs Sukuna

One of the most anticipated contexts was brilliantly presented in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 40. I from season 1 looked forward to seeing Jogo fighting the King of Curses. Jogo went beyond his limit in Episode 40 which not only impressed Sukuna but also made a robust impression in my mind.

It was a spectacular fight that demonstrated how capable Jogo is and did not flinch at all while fighting the boss. Well, honestly Jogo also did not flinch when he came face to face with Gojo. However, it’s Sukuna we are talking about, and he also watched the fate of Mimiko and Kimiko.

Nevertheless, I felt Jogo when he was praised by Sukuna. It was a true emotional picturization, which pulled me into the context. Sukuna and Jogo share a deep sentimental conversation that enlightens the complexity of the characters and that it’s not limited to only humans.

The shocking yet predictable revelation of Jogo incinerated was something, while Sukuna kept watching the corpse with a flat expression.

I would also like to include the seconds when Sukuna reveals his firey move perplexing Jogo. It was an eye-opening moment for Jogo, but still, it did not make him step a foot behind which I really feel is a remarkable exhibition of bravery.

1st Sukuna’s Shocking Appearance

Now, this was for some seconds, however, this instance was a horrifying moment for me. The humans had their own challenges standing face to face. Further, Kusakabe was stressed since the eerie atmosphere was not giving him any ray of hope to survive the Shibuya incident. However, his dreads turned real when Sukuna suddenly came and met the humans.

I totally felt the shock. They were unable to move because of the polite threat positioned brilliantly by the villain. It seemed that he played with the mortals before they vanished into thin air. Also here I am talking about Kusakabe and Panda. Don’t know what happened to the rest.

But yes, it was a massive surprise for me.
