Things I Liked From Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku Arc Episode 5

The Narrative

The narrative of Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku Arc Episode 5 focuses on the unraveling of the mysteries surrounding the Black Dragons, Tenjiku, and Kisaki Tetta’s involvement in an interesting way. It becomes more clear that Kisaki is the puppeteer manipulating events behind the scenes. In this episode, he simply crosses all his boundaries. After seeing his heinous act, I am just shocked.

Kisaki’s plan to usurp Mikey’s leadership and create chaos within the gang is unveiled, shedding light on his evil intentions. The emotional depth of the characters takes center stage in this episode. Takemichi’s desperation to save TOMAN and prevent the consequent tragic events he witnessed in the future is palpable.

Mikey’s internal struggle continues to grow. The betrayal of Mucho, the leader of the 5th division then the unexpected demise of his only sibling was uncalled for. The fact that Emma is Izana’s own sister and still considered murdering the girl was genuinely villainous. The sad and dark circumstance will definitely add more layers to Mikey’s character, eventually turning him even more negative as we all watched in the last season.
