Things You Might Have Liked About Jujutsu Kaisen S2 Ep 33 Shibuya Incident – Gate, Open

In this thrilling episode, we are introduced to a variety of perspectives on Satoru Gojo’s life. Each person has their own unique take on the human. I really enjoyed seeing how grateful Yuji and Megumi were towards Gojo.

Yuji always seemed so happy-go-lucky and he clearly appreciated being taught by the strongest teacher in the jujutsu sorcerer world. Meanwhile, Megumi’s feelings seemed a bit more complex when it came to sharing Satoru with Yuji, but that’s just how I interpreted it. It was touching to hear him admit that Gojo Sensei had saved him – those were some truly heartfelt words.

Heading back to Shibuya station, anime fans were in for a surprise when they accidentally stumbled upon a spoiler. We witnessed an intense brief glimpse of a scene where Saturo was holding the heads of two transformed humans, taking deep breaths. This left us eagerly anticipating the next few minutes of the show, which promised to be absolutely mind-blowing.

After the impressive opening track, we return to the story where Jogo, Hanami, and Saturo prepare for a lethal encounter. Saturo without hesitation calls the curses, weeds which were definitely cold. And it was certainly fair, since Saturo felt insulted, that these worthless curses were putting forth a challenge for Gojo who is supposedly the powerful being of the current generation. He directly targets Hanami and asks them to advance with whatever planned tactics they have in their sleeves.

However, Saturo was continuously throwing his moves toward Jogo which Hanami felt like a psychological game. In the meantime, Saturo has lifted his Limitless Curse Technique without twitching any minor adjustments. Whatever Saturo was up to, it remained secret to Hanami and it confused the creature a lot.

Confident Hanami takes charge of the situation which however catches Saturo’s attention. Jogo in fact warns the curse. But Gojo was for Hanami now. The crazy expression on his face was genuinely scary. He looked insanely excited to exorcise the curse as he promised a few minutes back. He pulls out the horn-like structure from Hanami’s supposed head which significantly brings down the power level of the trio.

Choso and Jogo were doing their level best to distract the OP character. They were mercilessly massacring the civilians. But, Saturo informs the curses that their tactics are not working on him. In fact, he once again sets his insane eyes on Hanami. The crazy grin was seriously daunting.

He smashes the hell out of Hanami using his Limitless. The funny thing is Jogo at that very second was trying to blackmail the sorcerer, by indicating that he was about to incinerate another group of confused civilians on the rail track. However, Hanami’s fate stops him, which also forces him to run for his life.

I was waiting for Saturo to look behind and utter some intimidating lines and so he did. The sparkly blue eyes were grave and serious. The emotions expressed by those eyes were enough to shake the shit out of Jogo and Choso.

Here comes some important notes on Prison Realm. So the Prison Realm is a barrier and an embodiment of Genshin which is capable of sealing everything. After the door of the Prison Realm is open the effective range of the seal is within the radius of about four meters. They have to keep Saturo Gojo within that range for just one minute.

In the present situation, Jogo was running for life. However, the kick, which Jogo landed was unexpected. He was all confused and time was running very fast. The unprecedented demise of Hanami was enough to startle the curse and Choso.

As expected Saturo was sufficiently handling every other attack thrown at him. Additionally, he was calculating every tricky move made by Jogo and Choso. However, he understands very well that he will be unable to save everyone. Moreover, he failed to do so from the beginning of this life-and-death situation. Every second was significant and with every second the drama and the intensity of the montage were growing.

But, judging by what Geto says, Saturo is still not tense to pull off their planned move while Jogo was running to save his butt now.

In the meantime, we were taken to Yuji and Mei Mei. In the last episode, we saw that Yuji came across a shocked girl sitting on the floor of the station. But in this episode, she was transfigured which definitely throws light on Mahito being around somewhere close. However, what the girl informs us is horrific.

The train coming to Shibuya was packed with transfigured humans and there was Mahito of course which increases the hurdle level Saturo a lot. I was intrigued to find out how Saturo manages to tackle such a complex and complicated plot point since it was another fresh move made by the villain team.

The naive civilians all got excited as soon as they heard the train approaching the station. But something terrible and unimaginable was waiting for them. The train stops and Jogo finally gets to breathe for some minutes.

I must say the out-of-character sequence totally takes me off. Mahito steps out from the train and it is not a dramatic step out. The conversation between Mahito and Jogo was also very casual like friends talk normally. And Mahito’s reaction to Hanami’s surprising death was uncalled for. He was in denial.

So it was the first time Mahito and Saturo came face to face. They both have heard about the other so I was expecting an interesting one on one match.

Just so you can recollect, in the last episode, a barricade was implemented by Hanami to block Saturo’s view which Mahito lifts up in this episode, increasing the intensity of the hurdle one more level. Alongside both Choso and Mahito use their curse techniques.

I was tired of watching so many challenges landing one by one in front of Saturo which he needed to tackle all at once. And can’t forget Jogo also; Saturo once again rips up his hand.

Honestly, everything happening simultaneously was literally a pain in the butt.

However Saturo after considering the situation at a comprehensive level settles with Domain Expansion Infinite Void, which throws the miscreants off the table. They assumed pretty well, that Gojo would consider some casualties but his measure to implement Infinite Void was unexpected.

Now, Saturo chooses to take a desperate 0.20 seconds of domain expansion based on his intuition. He believed that this technique wouldn’t transform the civilians into invalids or cause any type of after-effects. Further during this desperate second, the civilians along with transfigured humans were plugged with one year’s worth of information while each of them stood unconscious.

In the next seconds, it’s revealed that the survivors of that mayhem were successfully returned to the human society after two months of this chaos.

It’s true — the dates for Prime Big Deal Days are official. Mark your calendars for October 10 and 11

We also learn that the unlimited void used by Saturo currently can awaken the Special-Grade curses nearby at this very moment as well.

And here we are finally having a conclusion for the instance that we watched at the very beginning of this episode; which is Saturo standing strong however taking deep gasps while holding the heads of two transfigured humans.

Till now, Saturo did not allow any drop of blood to touch his body. However, this 299 seconds his focus on decreasing casualties blotched his face red. He took care of thousands of transfigured humans singlehandedly during these 299 seconds. No wonder he is the strongest and the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer of modern times.

So finally we are introduced to the Prison Realm on screen. Saturo’s sudden change of expression terrified me a lot. The camera turns to Seguro Geto who orders the Prison realm to open. Saturo turns his back, trying to avoid the situation, and just then the moment of meeting his best friend finally arrives.

Geto ultimately takes the limelight after developing the build-up from the first season. This montage really broke my heart. Saturo questions if this is for real, and then suddenly we all are taken to the flashback. Honestly, it was painful for me to watch the current condition of their friendship.

Seguro’s momentary presence was sufficient to capture Saturo.

I was not happy at all. Saturo was shaken and he could not muster up the energy to counter-attack. I felt that this was the end.

However, Saturo understands pretty well, that the person who is standing in front of him is not Seguro, his best bud. Satoru’s six eyes says that it’s Seguro while his soul would speak otherwise. And it was totally understandable why Saturo was getting agitated, wasn’t it??? The face and voice matched his best friend. However, it was someone else. So that clearly means that his body is misused, and that was true.

Seguro was impressed by Saturo’s observation. Therefore he explains that the technique used here has the power to replace the body for an indefinite period as long as the brain is transferred. Which also helps the user to utilize the powers engraved on the body.

The stranger admits that he wanted to use the curse manipulation technique of Seguro Geto.

Unfortunately, Shoko did not take care of the remaining of Geto, so it was misplaced.

The stranger confirms that the seal will be lifted in the next thousand years. He also says why he is sealing Saturo since he will be a bother to his final ambition.

However, Saturo is confident that Yuta will be able to manage the situation in his absence. But Seguro is sure no one can replace Gojo.

Once we are back with Yuji and Mei Mei, Yuji realizes that his left ear is suddenly wearing an earpiece resembling that of Mechamaru, which confirms that Saturo Gojo is sealed.
