Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 took the weeb world by storm with its launch back in 2020. Besides the golden trio of the show i.e., Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, who is your favorite from this anime? Wait let me guess, is this Satoru Gojo we are inclining to?
The 27-year-old man stole the show effortlessly, don’t you think? Of course, there is Kakashi Hatake (who is believed to be an inspirational character of Gojo Sensai) along with several other mentors like All Might, Koro Sensai, Kyojuro Rengoku, etc in this weeb world whom we love and respect.
But without a doubt, this white-haired, blue-eyed teacher emanates a powerful and magical energy on the screen which is smooth and stupendously attractive. In addition, to building a women-centric fan base, Gojo Sensai also has a huge male audience base.
N.B We are here to talk about only season 1, alright!!
So, to have a quick check, on Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, here we are with the highlights on these Six-Eyed sorcerors, just for my TOTTers. Thus, without any additional delay, let us get going with-

Satoru Gojo From Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 is Stupendously Amazing, All The Moments Ranked From Best To Best
He Defeats Sukuna Within A Blink Of An Eye
Gojo Sensai comes to the rescue of his 1st-year student Megumi Fushiguro, in the very first episode. He arrives at the right time when Ryomen Sukuna wakes up after a lengthy slumber where Megumi nearly gets killed by the King of Curses.
Satoru arrives at the location holding a packet of Sendai Delicacy. His jolly charm paired with his smooth killer moves makes his entrance to the show spectacular. Within some seconds he defeats Sukuna, the renowned King of Curse. Megumi’s expression spoke louder than his words. He nudges the accumulated tension off his shoulder since his Sensai, Satoru Gojo is here to handle the demon King.
In the immediate next episode when Gojo accompanies Yuji to his new school, on their way, Sukuna tries to mock Gojo in the most infuriating way possible. But it was made clear to the audience that Gojo can singlehandedly(but, he also says that it won’t be easy though) take care of the King of Curses for sure.
Well, Satoru is a big snob and it is famous in his world which is in fact not appreciated as well at all in the sorcerer space. But I genuinely like his sassy swag. I can vouch that if I had an acquaintance like Gojo in reality, I would be Useless Miwa to him.
Satoru Gojo And Yuji
In several instances throughout Season 1, we see Satoru Gojo and Yuji Itadori bonding over several topics. The way they connect with each other from no angle shows the typical Sensai- Student relationship. Satoru Gojo put his confidence in this newcomer from the very first day, and it continued throughout the season. Their energy even made Megumi jealous.
Therefore, it was normal for Satoru to be heartbroken by Yuji’s death. He blindly blames the higher authorities and hopes to kill them all. However, the moment Yuji wakes up, his gloomy face lightens up instantly. The high five to Yuji proves his joy in the situation, isn’t it?
So, what was the best decision in concern of safety for Yuji? Conceal the fact that Yuji is alive. Nonetheless, he trains Yuji in confidence. But he includes Nanami Kento in this plan.
Now, let us talk about Gojo’s training process. He trains the young sorcerer by advising him to watch movies. It was not only cool but also intriguing, right?
Can’t skip the reintroduction part though. The OP Sensai introduces Yuji to the Second Years and reintroduces him, to his friends Megumi and Nobara just before the Sister School Goodwill Event. Yes, he was definitely skeptical about the reaction of the higher-ups, regarding Yuji’s return.
But his conversation with Nanami says it all, isn’t it?
Satoru Gojo And His Students
Apart from Yuji he has Megumi, Nobara, Maki, Inumaki and Panda. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0 there was Yuta as well. He believes in this young generation so much, that he even goes to the extent of paying Mei Mei for recommending his students for a promotion to the Second Grade.
During the entire tournament, he kept a close watch over Yuji along with his other wards proving his equal love for each of his students once again.
Well, I enjoy his all-rounder fun energy which he radiates all the time. He loves jumping around, making jokes, and laughing hard with his students. He loves treating the younglings every now and then and even takes part in their pranks. The admiration and respect for Gojo Sensai is beautifully expressed by Yuji in Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
This boy feels positive and energetic in Satoru Gojo’s presence. But Gojo’s bond with his other students is different. Most of the time they call him ‘Baka’ which is only possible if a teacher doesn’t act like a genuine teacher but a friend/elder sibling. This makes the show even more interesting.
He Wants A Change
Gojo despises the old conventional methods that this community of Sorceror strongly follows. The excellent part is that he never fails to put or show his opinions against them. What he feels, he puts it in front of them without showing the slightest guilt or regret. Remember, he directly confronts the principal in regard to Jogo’s ambush.
Further, his sassy remark during the tournament about Itadori’s safety was also class.
We even find him, telling Kiyotaka Ijichi that he would like to kill all the higher-ups if possible since it is easy for him.
Satoru Gojo And His Powers
Every time we find Gojo, exhibiting his power, we are amazed magnanimously. From defeating Sukuna in just seconds, then reshaping the soda can almost to nothing. He plays with his power while briefing Yuji on their training session.
I still wonder what made Jogo feel so confident enough to ambush the unlimited curse user. The curse spirit certainly deserved what happened to him in Season 1.
It’s impossible for anyone(unless allowed by Gojo himself) to come close to Gojo because of his Six Eyes. After knowing everything, this mad curse spirit takes his chances which is definitely brave but of course “BAKA”.
Every Shonen fan sits to watch this genre, to experience the brilliance, which the creator puts into building these unique OP heroes. Satoru Gojo is that one anime hero who can challenge every notable Shonen leads from every generation, don’t you think?
- Unlimited void
- Six Eyes
- Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue
- Cursed Technique Reversal: Red
- Hollow Technique: Purple
These were enough to represent how powerful and marvelous this white-haired sorcerer is, right?
