The Story

Book 3 is a continuation of the first two installments and begins with a quest against Terroblade. But Invoker had something else planned for the team and of course himself. His intense love for his daughter was something so pure that might put him both in a good and bad light. His selfish way of handling his life charged a lot to the others.

He knew from the beginning what would be the endgame but still tried to capture some bits of time to spend with his daughter. However, we watch him busy tackling the moon situation. It was Filomena who genuinely tried to save everyone along with Mirana and to some extent Fymryn too.

Now, the story we watched in Book 3 was undoubtedly a critical narrative that requires an extreme level of patience, concentration, and a good memory to remember everything from Book 1 and Book 2. But honestly, now one can totally understand that Book 1 was just a plot development paved for Book 2 and Book 3.

The story was very absorbing, it was full of captivating turns which I enjoyed a lot. Yes, at some angles the narrative came out extremely perplexing which is, however, it is subjective; I felt confused but you might not feel the same though. Anyway, it was a very deep, engaging, of course, spell-binding storyline which you must definitely give a try.

The Characters

This season, Mirana, took the mantle in her hand and was responsible to manage the angles all by herself. She was the brain of the narrative who with the help of Filomena and Fymryn helped in the advancement of the plot. Sure Davion is the Dragon Knight, however, Book 3 was written for the ladies, especially Mirana. She might actually motivate and inspire a lot in this process.

We watched a grown-up Filomena who was an epitome of wisdom and elegance just like her father. She is a scholar who loved experimenting, studying, and solving the mysteries of her world and existence. Again a strong young woman stole the limelight and gained favor with her extremely jovial presence on the screen.

Now, Book 3 showed Fymryn as a Goddess who is poles apart from Selemene. She listens to her devotees and spreads her positive spiritual aura through her devotees. She genuinely portrayed the true image of a divine being which felt nice actually.

Davion like always was a strong, brave, and understanding soldier who did not think about himself, but about others. His self-sacrifice, and leaving Mirana all alone were sentimental.

The others on the team, such as Luna, and Kaden, were nice and were significant comrades for the whole venture Invoker secretly planned.

Also, the ending of Book 3 was satisfying. Sure there are still some loose ends hanging, it was wittily placed just at the ending for the audience to wonder and ponder. But let us see if there will be any Book 4 in the making or not.

If I missed out any point, make sure to point that out in the comment section below.

What Else!!

The clear visualization was just spellbinding this time. It was so beautiful that I felt captivated by the picturization several times in Book 3. What about you?

Now talking about the music compositions by Dino Meneghin, it was quite appropriate just styling the mood with the perfect blends. It was nice.

Now the directors, Park So Young, Kim Eui Jeong, and Han Seung Woo, were just precise. Their direction was very exact and certainly to the point. Also, Kim Il Kwang, the Art Director of Book 3 deserves a lot of praise. This human was great on his part in the production.

Nothing to say more of Ashley Edward Miller, both as a screenplay writer and a developer. The narrative had already spoken for her. Now Steven Melching, Ashley Halloran, Mitch Iverson along with Amy Chu deserves credit as well, for being the co-screen player in the production. Another significant part of the production team is Bryan Konietzko who co-wrote Dota: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 and you did great.

Seriously speaking, Dota: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 was amazing, much more intense, action-packed, twisty, interesting, pretty engrossing, and certainly jaw-dropping this time. I found nothing negative to talk about or nitpick. But the perplexing narrative has confused me several times which is justifiably ignorable.
