However, the glimpses which we witnessed in the previous season were not enough to come to a closure. But this time the direction amplified this portion of Butcher’s story pretty neatly.
5th-Noir’s Escape From Reality
The situation which he faced as a member of Payback and now Seven doubtlessly needs something as such. This montage had its unique magic and charm which beautifully answered the audience the questions they held close while sitting for the season.
Soldier Boy is the bully which he of course does not know or can relate to. He considers every step that was taken, to be right, which made him the sand in the eyes of members of Payback. 4th-Deep’s Demand
Never imagined Deep would stoop down in front of the lady who is graciously working hard to help her husband get back to the position he held once. This ungrateful Supe returned to be the typical him, the douche he originally is. It was practically very unnerving to watch something so sick and disrespectful.

3rd- Maeve Caged
Maeve is alive but in captivity under Vought and Homelander. Her query about her still living status matches our thoughts as well. Homelander begins narrating his dream of a happy life with Maeve but ends it suddenly with an unsettling future that he anticipates right now for Maeve to experience. But it was totally amazing to watch Maeve not bend in front of this twisty wish, that Homeland plans to execute.
2nd- Annie Facing Homelander
Not anyone from Vought but the man who is looking for an opportunity to kill America’s sweetheart encounters Annie at Vought itself. The montage was unexpected which was predictively scary. But things surely changed as soon as Starlight took the most astonishing step at that very intense stage of her life. It bothered Homelander a lot frightening him to the core.
1st- The Call By Soldier Boy
The last minutes are styled in such a mysterious way that the fans are left to wonder was it a dupe, schemed to outsmart and outpower Homelander once again. The sensitive expression on Soldier Boy’s face seemed genuine though. Now if Soldier Boy is telling the truth, will the Supes team up against Butcher now. Or was it a simple ploy planned to bring down Homelander once and for all? Let’s wait for it now.
