10 Moments From The Boys S3 Ep4 Which You Enjoyed The Most, Ranked
10th A-Train’s Commercial Shoot
A very entertaining montage that practically copied a much-related advertisement. These small details presented in this season are some of the short chilled-out times that offer the audience the window to breathe and get ready for the next big change or destruction planted in the plot.
9th Kimiko’s Mission
Butcher had no choice but to bid Kimiko or else it was Cheries. So he chooses the easiest stake and sends Kimiko the only girl among the Boys to take down the mission assigned by Nina in return for the address of the weapon.
She does what she was sent for, in a very gory way, which definitely made her uncomfortable, which the audience might have felt too. The action sequence was certainly brutal and was something very precisely designed that the audience would watch even though it’s bloody and very gruesome.
8th Vicky Injects The Compound V
Homelander hands her over the serum, the Compound V which was the part of the bargain. She needs the serum for Zoe, Vicky’s daughter. She decides, that for walking this Earth, one needs extreme power and strength which Compound V can only offer. Hence she chooses to inject the serum even though she knows very well, that it will hurt her daughter.
7th The Fatal Fate
Undoubtedly, Alex, had it coming when he tried to team up with A-Train. Homelander is an omnipotent being who generously needs someone to beat him up, very much powerful like himself. So, forming a group of Supe against Homelander with such minimal power was something very naive and definitely silly.
Starlight’s virtuous way of tackling Homelander is sure a poor decision. And involving Alex who is all new to the ambiance was not at all the right call. So he meets the fate which he never deserved.
6th Homelander And Stan Edgar
This exhibition of toxic parenting was actually a relatable one, where the son always seeks approval, just like Stan actually tells, and the father is always looking forward to his precious daughter even though she betrayed. Now, this is the time when you feel scared as well as angry to wonder what Homelander would do to this man.
Again you might feel a gentle connection with the Supe, since Stan genuinely cornered him all this time, and this single win over the situation leads Homelander to hear every negative remark from a parent-like figure. Well, these troubled and not-so-welcoming conversations might only be the reason why Homelander has turned out as such, seeking out appreciation and minute spec of love at every point of his life.
5th Vicky And Homelander
Although she is the Headpopper still she is very much intimidated by Homelander’s presence, altogether. However, the homely conversation that the Supes shares somehow depicts a typical conversation that siblings have. Homelander keeps his promise of the bargain and also thanks her for choosing her kind. The gentle smile on Vicky’s face shows her genuine appreciation of the situation.
4th Neuman’s Takes Her Call
Betraying her adoptive father was the best and the simplest decision that she could opt for. It was Homelander who stood against her, even though Victoria Neuman was the popular Headpopper still, fighting heads on heads with Homelander is genuinely not an intellectual choice one should make. Hence she chooses what suits her best for her and absolutely for her daughter.
So, when she says, that she feels like throwing up, now we know why? Further, this space paved by Homelander accurately makes the life of the ones(Starlight, Maeve, and Alex) inside Vought who were walking straight face, under Stan Edgar now needs to calculate their steps every second.
3rd Homelander Invades Starlight’s Home
He could have kept quiet and remained silent, but he chose to speak and give the audience a very scary time. Additionally, when he was pushing Hughie’s buttons, Hughie standing up for himself was definitely courageous, he actually did what Butcher always does.
2nd The Mission And The Revelation
The motive to visit Russia and get the weapon to kill Homelander was finally happening. The team reaches the spot fully ready and meets the requirement. However, things do not go as planned, the Boys come across the Russian arm man and they clash, losing the fight.
But the secret preparation that Butcher and Hughie jabbed themselves with, finally came to the team’s rescue. Butcher just enjoyed lasering out the hindrances, on their mission, while Hughie simply punched and killed the armed man to save MM. The revelation was terrifically amazing, which however none of the other members supported.
1st Soldier Boy
Finally, Soldier Boy is rescued and he is the weapon they have anticipated about. He was there, captivated from 84, and Butcher simply knocked open the chamber and released him. His release to the normal human world was something fresh and out of the blue for the Supe. So, the sudden release of his power against Kimiko appeared strong and fatal. Let us see how she recovers.
