The Characters

Not all the characters, to be honest, however, the leads, i.e, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and Suzune Horikita will entertain you. Well, there is Kikyou Kushida along with Airi Sakura, Kei Karuizawa, Yousuke Hirata, Rokusuke Kouenji, Ken Sudou Ken Sudou, and more who shares the screen however they gain the significance of their part much later in the show. Nonetheless, the leads, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji and Suzune Horikita will genuinely make you like them.

The characters in the show are ruthlessly flawed, corrupted, and intense individuals who at times are friendly, reliable, and very warm while being mysterious too. They are some solid unpredictable humans whose movements are easily swayed. But the main leads will genuinely win your heart. They are robust, very strong, proficient, and meticulous characters who actually steer the show.

The Direction

Seiji Kishi along with Hiroyuki Hashimoto directed the anime in a very detailed manner. It appeared vigorously meticulous. Although you might not feel the first few episodes to be that absorbing. But as you pace up with the plot, there are certainly some upgrades in the storyline that you will enjoy.

The Story

It is a school, set in the distant future from the current age where students get enrolled in Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School to get a proficient career for the betterment of the country. The story centers around the Class D of the first years where it is indicated that all the hopeless, not-so-worthy individuals are dumped into this section. However, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji proves to be the savior of this class who solves every arising issue with his intelligence and patience.

Well, the first few episodes of the anime are slow and give you a typical teenage show vibe, where students are looking forward to having a fun time at school. The leads being the leads appear somewhat distant from the rest of the class. Here the primary concerns remain not getting expelled, not getting stalked, and not becoming a target of the student council.

The story takes its speed with its 7th episode. The whole background of the show takes a rest and we watch a fun entertaining program till its 12th episode. The anime, like a typical coming-of-age school drama, has its own set of rules and regulations that adds complications to the plot, which you might grow a liking towards, by the end of the series.

The Visuals

It was simply very apt to the content. Nothing extravagant was experienced in the depiction of the storyline of Classroom Of The Elite(2017).

The Music

The Ost’s were genuinely good. The Opening OST had its own uniqueness which was kind of groovy and catchy. While on the other hand, the Ed OST was something very melodious and soothing to enjoy.

The story at the beginning won’t show the rigorous moments which might be a turn-off. It will appear a very so-so story that tries its level best to intensify the montages although they are actually not serious. Also, the unneeded shots of the female parts were too extra, and might not be appealing to everyone.

Besides the side characters of the show, do not hold any sort of value to the show. They are created to make petty stories, to advance the plot points of the narrative. Also, these are some accurate shallow characters whom you will not remember in the long run as well.

Further, even though the last 5 episode holds something interesting, for the audience to enjoy, still there is something missing in the series which might make you not wait for the upcoming second season.

TOTT’s Take On Classroom Of The Elite(2017)

This is a good anime, which gives a mixed vibe to the audience. You might or might not enjoy the show at all.

So, TOTT gives the series 2.5/5 Stars.
