Her sister works in a commercial place. She takes up the address and sneaks up, meeting on her way the charismatic Mr. Pendragon. He escorts her down to the address. Her meet-up with her sister was nice. They talk about the experience Sophie just went through. After encountering the Witch of The Waste, she turns old far from her actual age. She tries her level best to handle the situation without panicking. After taking control of the morning and the breakfast, Sophie takes full control over the Howl’s Moving Castle. Although initially the kid, Markl showed reluctance at accepting the new lady in the home. But as soon as he finds that the Demon fire obeys the Granny, he feels surprised.

She was betrayed by Heen the animal whom Madame Suliman sends to escort Mrs. Pendragon to the castle. She assumed the creature to be Howl in disguise, so she carried the animal with pain to the top of the stairs. Then we find she converses with the Witch of The Waste with confidence(well she is the one who made her age) without showing any negativity towards the lady. In fact, she cheers the lady up when she finds herself in a hard situation while climbing up the sharp stairs.

Again she takes both Heen and Witch of the Waste to Howl’s Moving Castle to provide them a shelter. She takes care of both of them with honesty.
