A Good StepMother

The woman might be very materialistic, however, she was good to Ella. Even her sisters were too gentle to the heroine of the show. Her aim and ambition though disrupted briefly, she was not abused like in the actual story, that we read as kids. In fact, her stepmother wanted Ella to get married to the Prince.

The Songs

The songs that were being added every now and then, (since this movie is a musical,) were not at all appealing. The moment you gain the hold of the story, that very moment you get a song. It might be distracting.

Presentation Of Toxic Masculinity

From the king to a civilian they are not willing to listen to a woman. Nevertheless, this film took an effort in bringing down the male gender to the negative limelight, showing that they always suffer from God Complex which was kind of annoying.

The Ending Was Not At All Satisfying

The song made the ending too loud. It could have been something else, like their departure from the kingdom and a slight glimpse of Ella’s future, but it was not.

TOTT’s Take On Cinderella 2021

Well, it is a good concept with old familiar characters. The movie is produced to inspire the young ladies to grow as humans, as a name, and as an individual. Marriage is not everything, there is a whole new idea beyond marriage and family life. This background is strong, inspiring, and simply motivating.
