What You Might Not Like In Forecasting Love And Weather?
The Protagonist
Park Min Young plays the prominent role of Director Jin or Jin Ha Kyung. You might try to stand in her shoes while the series begins with her jilted heart. However, as you will move with the series, you may slide with Han Ji Kun, her Ex-Fiance.
She gives off a strong women’s vibe however her actions talk the opposite. She simply don’t know what she was doing and kept on confusing everyone around. Well, Park Min Young stands amongst those actresses, whom we love for their wonderful performances on screen. But this time, she just failed to shine.

The character is a self-absorbed, ambitious lady who is rude, plays victim, is too nosy, and does not bother to build a connection with her teammates(But it should be also mentioned that she took up all the responsibilities on issues, that came up on the team), family, or even her boyfriend at any point in the Drama.
She was bossy and never showed the willingness to know if there was an issue with the team(except for the times she stumbled upon the situations of the teammates and their problems with some other team members), family, or love life.
Simply put, Jin Ha Kyung was not at all that enticing lady, whom one would admire. She is not at all a well-written character since her perspective of life is something no one would like to adopt.
Also, trying to make the character perfect, the writer ended up developing Jin Ha Kyung one of the confused characters in the series.
Well, Park Min Young’s performance was good, no doubt about that, but it is the character, Jin Ha Kyung that dropped her down.

The Main Story
Well, honestly, if the story simply focused on the weather department and their hardship in analyzing and calculating the forecast, then it would have been a great show since the love plot that blossomed between Lee Shi Woo and Jin Ha Kyung was something that lacked chemistry.
Since the genre demanded a love and romance plot, hence it was forced upon the leads. You won’t root for them or feel butterflies running inside you, while you watch this couple. The development of their story was too fast hence it felt shallow and baseless. It was mere lust than love and then silly confusion altogether.
The Ending
It was dragged and once again the happy ending of the main couple felt kind of forced. Genuinely, it felt kind of pushed and was too hard to watch.
TOTT’s Take On Forecasting Love And Weather
Well, watching Song Kang and Park Min Young was not at all a delight since it felt kind of a forced and confused love story. Everything apart from their love story even the love story bloomed on the betrayal ended up amusing us, because the love Jin Ha Kyoung and Han Ki Jun had, was not love but a good friendship that Jin Ha Kyung took for granted. Therefore, although you will despise the newly married couple at the beginning of the series, you might not hate it that much when the series ends.

The direction of the series is similar to any of those typical Korean dramas, where there is drama, separation, lots of lovey-dovey moments along with parental issues. You will enjoy every bit of it while the series begins.
But after it crosses the 8-9th episode, the show turns slightly monotonous and you might feel like being dragged with the plot, which might be a turn-off. However, staying till the end of Forecasting Love and Weather was hard. Well, you will understand if you seat with the show.
