Attack On Titan S4 Pt 2 EP 4 came out this Sunday(30.1.2022) and it broke some long-held opinions against Grisha. With all the chaos being nurtured from a very young age, Grisha Yeager the father of the Usurper, Eren, and Zeke, our Beast Titan surely did not have a pleasant past life.

He met a disturbing end to his first marriage and his dream to restore Eldia. His happy life inside the walls was something everyone would look forward to. However, the plan that he cooked up before stepping his foot inside the wall was something that drove him to move forward and carry on with his family life.

Things That Zeke Finally Learns In Attack On Titan S4 Pt 2 EP 4 Are-

Grisha Definitely Changed With Time

After the miserable fate that was bestowed upon the doctor, Grisha was suggested by Eren Kruger to start fresh infiltrating the Walls. He met Carla over there and got married bringing Eren to the world. He definitely started enjoying the new time he was offered, inside the Shinganshina district.

He played with his second son, took care of the Royal associates, met Kenney Ackerman, and served the Eldians with his skill as a physician.

Grisha Missed His Past Life Though

Although he was filled with love and affection from his current family, he missed Dina and Zeke wholeheartedly. He carried the only picture he had with Dina and Zeke. He was forced to leave Marley and leave his son behind, while watching his Dina, change to a purebred.

He confesses his grief while sleeping. Gladly, Zeke watches his father confess that he is sorry. However, it was simply not enough.

Grisha Learned From His Past Mistake

Grisha was not at all a good parent to Zeke, which justifies Zeke’s hatred and lack of empathy against his old man. Zeke only bears negativity towards his biological father and feels that his kid brother, Eren is also walking along the path paved by his father, just because Grisha wants him so. In his journey, he has forgotten what Eren actually is.

But the parenting style, Grisha applied was full of love and no expectation. He enjoyed pampering his second son, doing exactly the opposite to what he did, while raising Zeke. The scorn in Zeke’s eye was relatable.

Zeke Learns About Erens’s First Murder

Eren killed men to protect a girl in need. He also talked his logic through, to the girl and led her to take up the heinous act, also to protect and save Eren. The memory brings the idea to reality, that Eren did what he felt right that required him to stay free. If someone tried a bit to take away freedom from him, he would do whatever is needed to get his freedom back.

Basically, Zeke realizes that he was all wrong in anticipating what his father did while raising Eren, he was never brainwashed. He had his opinions and he followed his way of life. There is no injured young brother like Zeke himself. In fact, Zeke is still haunted by a dead man who gave birth to him.

Eren Wanted To See What Remains In The Outside Wall

Zeke was tutored differently and was instructed by his parents to perform diligently and become a warrior candidate to invade Eldia. However, Eren was not at all implanted with such a serious notion, rather he had all the freedom he wanted as a kid.

Being sold out by Mikasa, Eren confesses that he wants to join the Scout to see and fight the titans outside the wall. Carla scolds and requests Grisha to persuade the ten-year-old kid to leave such thoughts. However, Grisha was astounded by what Eren felt.

The kid wants to avenge the ones who perished, fighting outside the wall. That gave Grisha to meet his actual goal once again, which made him infiltrate Eldia in the first place.

Zeke Learns What He Needs To Learn

The ultimate scene that changes the whole plot point arrives when Grisha meets the Royals in their base. Zeke learns that Grisha pleads his argument to save his son, daughter, and wife who were housed in Shinganshina from the upcoming Titan invasion. To which the Royal blatantly denies claiming that it’s the judgment that Eldians needs to face, hence they won’t help.

Infuriated Doctor Yeager decides to ambush the whole Royal lot in one go, but his human conscience defeats his cruel intention.

Finally, Eren walks in, instigates his father, and makes him remember what he lost. Definitely, Grisha lost many valuables in his life, which gives him enough reason to rebel. But Eren’s words were the primary reason that infuriates the father and he does what fate wrote many years back.

Grisha Loved His Eldest

A very touchy end to Attack On Titan S4 Pt 2 EP 4 is when we find a wailing man crying her heart out and agreeing to the fact of being a not-so-good parent. He laments with a genuine heart for all the hardships he put his eldest through when he was just a kid.

He confesses his love and failure as a parent melting Zeke. But what changes the theme is when Grisha asks Zeke to stop Eren, since Grisha knows what Eren plans, which is an absolute mess and brutal.

Apart from the Royals, the viewers also learned that the Attacking titan has the power to see the future, finally being stamped, by a prominent character in this show. We found a slight hint to this fact when Eren Kruger out of the blue uttered Mikasa and Armin’s name to Grisha some season back, right?

In addition, Grisha lived his entire life inside Singanshina following what fate held for him watching the glimpses of his future while leading his life. However, the creepy interaction he has with Eren and Zeke down his memory lane is something that might make you wonder and ponder.
